Broadview Formation
Broadview Formation: The Broadview Formation is generally grey in color and is a sedimentary greywacke rock. It forms elevated areas due to its resistance to weathering. This rock unit is important because it hosts the Thor epithermal deposit and the prospective porphyry target at depth. The rock unit is the youngest Formation found at Thor and is an important host of mineralization. Structurally, the rock unit is prone to the development of extensive quartz veining, particular in proximity to the Thor Shear Zone. |
